"Take Me to Your Lieder: An exploration of the art songs of Johannes Brahms"

July 7 class is for high voice types (soprano and tenor)
This session, taught by our very own Assistant Conductor, Bryan Baker, we will explore some of the most beautiful art songs in the repertoire, the Lieder of Johannes Brahms. After an investigation of a handful of the songs, we will focus on two that are particularly interesting: “Die Mainacht” and “Von ewiger Liebe”. All sheet music and resources will be shared prior to class. Two singers will have the opportunity to perform a song by Brahms, and a chance to coach them with Bryan in advance.
