Spring Virtual Vocal Workshop - A Foray Into French Art Song: Gabriel Fauré and Mélodie, with Bryan Baker

This master class style session, taught by our very own Assistant Conductor, Bryan Baker, will explore some of the most beautiful art songs in the repertoire, the Mélodies of Gabriel Fauré.  After an overview of his songs, this class will focus on three that are particularly interesting:  “Après un rêve”, "Mandoline" and “En Sourdine”.  All sheet music and resources will be shared prior to class. Two singers will have the opportunity to perform a song by Fauré, and a chance to coach them with Bryan in advance.

Two active master class singer spots are open on a first come, first serve basis for a fee of $30. Please send an email with a subject heading: "Masterclass" to contact [email protected] if you are interested in signing up to be an active master class participant.
